本研究以社會資本理論當中社會網絡、規範、信任等，探究臺灣適婚女性於親密關係交往過程中，其網絡關係如何發展自弱連帶至強連帶的關係脈絡。對於現代適婚女性的親密關係發展如何自相識決定交往過程中，發展出如社會資本所談之有待償還關係的義務與期望的產生過程感到好奇，然而，進一步為提供做出結婚行動時的便利性，女性是如何透過其網絡信任以及既有社會關係，逐一形成資訊網絡進而蒐集結婚評估資訊；進而做出結婚與否的行為決定。結婚者與仍想維持交往狀態的現代女性，究竟她們的網絡的建立過程性質對於親密關係發展自認識、交往、結婚、整個過程所帶來的影響進行探究。
因此，筆者以質化研究方式訪談到25歲至35歲的有偶／有交往對象的臺灣適婚女性，就其自身關係發展經驗，瞭解其對於親密關係與交往型態的想法以及雙方關係網絡連帶情形進行瞭解，嘗試理解臺灣女性與交往對象自相識、交往、到決定結婚至完成結婚過程中其網絡關係所扮演的角色，因為想理解結婚者以及仍想維持交往關係的適婚女性思維，因此對象的設立皆為有固定交往對象者，以及論及婚嫁型態之交往關係狀態者；籌備婚禮以及已婚者則歸類於結婚狀態者。
而結果發現臺灣現代適婚女性其關係網絡對於親密關係發展之結婚決定階段中確實總會扮演關鍵要素，來自女性原生家庭觀念尤以若與母親關係為強連帶者其結婚將會以母觀點為最重要考量，以及透過交往過程（約一年左右相互瞭解認識彼此原生家庭）於日常相處狀態加以評估能否融入男性家庭網絡。然而社會網絡人際互動促使信任關係的累積在於共同事件的處理過程中，以及兩者網絡透過彼此分享達成共享，則相互依賴程度提升，則此對於成婚與否確為重要關鍵。

In this research, we study Social Network, norms and trust among Social Capital Theory that influence marriageable women’s relationship and how does the Social Network grow from weak to intensive ties to nowadays social connections. Social Network with different individuals and personnel status make the usable capital different. Thus, the curiosity of the modern intimacy for marriageable women from acquaintance to relationship process gradually turn into the Outstanding Debt mentioned in the Social Capital. However, to provide further convenience, how women evaluate the information through the trust of Social Network and their social relations when making marriage act. For the married and in relationship status modern women, how Social Network establishment effect on their intimacy relationship development from acquaintance to relationship and marriage.
Therefore, the researcher use qualitative research methods to interview 25-year-old to 35-year-old married/ in relationship Taiwanese female by their personal experience to understand their opinions towards intimate relationship, type of interaction and both sides network situation. We specify married/ in relationship female to our research in order to comprehend their thought better. As a result, we find out that Network has played an important role in modern women’s decision toward relationship to married stage. Female originating from family with stronger bond with mother tends to consider marriage in accordance with their mother’s standpoint; also, through the relationship development (approximate one year to familiar with each originating family) and daily interactions to estimate whether can involve with male’s family Network. However, cumulative trust relationship is accumulated through dealing with common issue together over time. Both Networks start with individual sharing to mutual sharing eventually to enhance the degree of interdependence, which become the crucial point to the future marriage.
