強迫症青少年家長的親職壓力與因應策略

摘要

本研究的目的主要在瞭解強迫症青少年家長,在教養強迫兒的過程中所面臨的親職壓力內涵,及所採取的因應策略。
本研究以六位強迫症青少年的家長為受訪對象,採用質性的研究方法,以深度訪談的方式取得研究資料,再利用開放性編碼的方式進行整理分析。
本研究所得到的結論如下:
強迫兒家長的親職壓力主要來自強迫兒本身及其他次系統,而以前者為主要壓力來源,其壓力內涵包括:(1)強迫兒自理能力變差--增加家長照顧上的負荷, (2)病情難得到控制--治療飽受波折、親子關係緊張。而來自其他次系統的壓力內涵包括:(1)家庭關係受到影響--夫妻衝突增加、其他子女無法理解接納,(2)強迫兒求學之路日益艱辛—作業完成困難、出席狀況不穩。
強迫兒家長的因應策略主要有以下六個部分:(1)積極尋求有效控制孩子病情的療法,(2)從親子互動中尋找對孩子有利的方式,(3)主動與其他次系統的溝通,化阻力為助力,(4)搜集相關資訊,增加對強迫症的掌握與瞭解,(5) 透過傾訴、休閒活動與藥物減輕壓力帶來的負面感受,(6)運用正向思考降低壓力帶來的衝擊。
最後,根據研究結果與發現,針對教育單位、醫療單位及未來研究提出相關建議作為參考。

The purpose of this research was to explore the parenting stress and coping strategies of parents with obsessive-compulsive disorder adolescents.
The main method used here was qualitative research. The texts were collected by using the semi-structured in depth interviews with six parents. Then the data were analyzed with the way of open coding.
The conclusions of this research were as follows:
Parents’ stress was from their OCD children and the other subsystems. The former was the main stress resource. It contained: (1) The OCD children’s self-care became poorer, so the parents’ loading became heavier. (2) OCD was not easy to be controlled, so the way on curing was full of frustration, and the parenthood was tension. The latter stress contained: (1) Family relationship was affected—conflict between husband and wife was more and the other children couldn’t understand and accept. (2) OCD children were hard to adapt to school day by day—it was hard for them to complete school work, and they couldn’t go to school stably.
Parents mainly had six kind of coping strategies: (1) Sought effective method of treatment positively. (2)Found the advantageous way for children from the parent-child interaction. (3)Actively communicated with other subsystems; turned the resistance into the boost. (4) Collected the related information to increase the knowledge of OCD. (5) Reduced negative feeling which the pressure brought by pouring out, leisure activity, and the medicine. (6) Reduced the impact which the pressure brought by using positive thinking.
Finally, according to the finding of this study, the author proposed some suggestions to education unit, medical unit and future researchers.
