全球化與管制解禁、企業重組、空間需求增加、物流管理的變化與勞工議題等因素,促使企業將物流活動委外,北美與歐洲五百大企業物流委外的比例均達六成左右,但相對歐美委外的深度與廣度,台灣企業物流委外的範圍卻多侷限於貨物運輸,第三方物流業者在台灣的發展遭遇瓶頸。另一方面,台灣高科技產業產值不斷成長,2006年已逼近整體製造業的六成,空運出口市場對於第三方物流業者的重要性與日俱增,但學術上對於物流市場的策略行銷STP研究卻十分匱乏,因此,本研究將從第三方物流業者的角度,建立科技產業物流市場的市場區隔、市場鎖定、與定位分析。本研究經由大量文獻回顧與專家訪談,建立物流委外決策因素的重要性評估指標,並以探索性因素分析建立市場區隔的基礎。本研究以新竹科學園區與南部科學園區為實證對象,將高科技產業的物流市場分成績效競爭導向市場、績效技術導向市場、加值技術導向市場等三個區隔市場。本研究進一步以產業與行為變數區隔變數檢定進行委外對象分析,找出各區隔市場的物流委外對象選擇傾向,並以典型相關分析相互印證。結果顯示,績效競爭導向市場傾向選擇F業者、D業者、區域型承攬業者;績效技術導向市場傾向選擇F業者、區域型承攬業者;加值技術導向市場傾向選擇F業者、U業者、國際型承攬業者、區域型承攬業者。
Due to the rapid change of environment and globalization, logistics outsourcing has been an important source of competitive advantage. The success of supply chain is found to be largely associated with performance of third party logistics (TPL). But industrial positioning of TPL was few investigated in past studies. Therefore, this paper develops the positioning model that examine the outsourcing choices for high tech firms in selecting Third Party Logistics (TPLs) services to find out key variables that have most influence on market share of TPLs. The offshore science parks located in Hsinchu and Southern Taiwan were chosen as the empirical case for this study. Exploratory factor analysis, cluster analysis and canonical correlation analysis are conduct to analysis the census data comprising 228 outsourcing cases and 88 manufactures.
The results indicate that outsourcing decisions of high tech firms are highly associated with the service performances and cost of the TPLs, followed by the value addition. Competitive- performance oriented market intends to choice logistics provider F, logistics provider D and international forwarders. Performance- technology oriented market intends to choice logistics provider F and international forwarders. Value addition- technology oriented market intends to choice logistics provider F, logistics provider U, international forwarders and regional forwarders.
