In recent years, the increased incidents of food safety and sanitation caused that the consumers pay much attention on food safety. Food safety has become one of the important issues in many countries of the world. Hence, the Government began to strengthen the laws and regulations of food safety and sanitation and establish the food traceability system. The implement of food safety management systems and continual improvement on food safety and quality have become the basic requirements of food markets competition for food companies. This study aims to take a certain company as a case to realize the origin, purpose, structure and validation procedures of food safety management systems (ISO 22000 and HACCP) via the reference investigation. By the in-depth interview of qualitative research, the results were discussed after this certain company implemented ISO 22000 and HACCP, which included the situation of conducting food safety management systems, verification evaluation and the facing problems. The results of this research indicated: 1.In food safety management systems (ISO 22000 and HACCP), the internal communication and external communication are important links to the le supply chain for ensuring the safety of various raw materials, reducing the occurring of food hazards during food processing, and producing finial products with high food safety. 2.The incidents of food safety related to purposeful and illegal chemical materials or food additives added are more difficult to control. There is no data which can indicate these kinds of food safety incidents had effective control ways. The suggestion is the Government shall establish a detailed and effective risk evaluation system of food safety for the source management of the food supply chain. 3.There are many kinds of raw materials and suppliers in this certain company, most suppliers have different management ways and cognitions to food safety management systems, which may increase the risk of food safety incidents occurring. The suggestion is the Government can give more guidance and advice to implement the verification of food safety management systems for small scales of food companies, which may decrease the occurring of food safety incidents
