本論文針對ATM網路環境製做了ATM效能分析工具--ATM效能統計
分析視窗. 透過我們所製作完成的視窗,可以讓管理者監測ATM網路的效
能,當發覺網路異常時, 便可進一步對網路做控制.由效能統計視窗所得到
的網路效能情況可做為其他網路 管理及控制工具在監控網路時的參考.
本論文的另一個研究在探討同步衛星ATM環境下的壅塞情形.我們針對了
ABR服務型態的交通流,提出以輸出阜為控制單位的壅塞控制機制,目地在
於避免碼 格損失的發生與降低緩衝區的大小,並討論控制機制對頻寬使
用效率的影響.

We design a tool of ATM networks management system --
ATM performance statistics analyzer. Network managers can
monitor ATM layer network performance by this tool. When the
abnormal network status is happened, ATM performance
statistics analyzer will detect the situation. Then managers can
control the network by other network management tools.
We also study the congestion control for GEO Satellite ATM. We
consider a per port approach to controlling congestion by
regulating the transmission rate of ABR traffic. The
congestion control mechanism can avoid cell loss and lower the
buffer size. We also discuss the bandwidth utilization of the
control mechanism.
