本研究的目的在探討各種燻燒法的技法及優缺點,並針對鋁箔包
覆燻燒法進入深入的研究,探討各種對燻燒坯體表面效果具有影響的
因素並實驗之.本研究歸納出以下數點結論:
1.在場地及設備受限的環境中,鋁箔包覆燻燒法具有極佳的便利性.
2.鋁箔包覆燻燒法可提供陶藝創作者易於控制且多樣化的效果.
3.坯體素燒溫度高低將會影響燻燒時的燻黑效果.
4.坯體表面是否磨光會影響燻黑的顏色及光澤.
5.坯體表面塗抹金屬氧化物之細泥漿或水溶性金屬化合物,使燻燒坯
體的色彩變化更加豐富.

The first objective of this study is to discuss the
merts and demerts of the various techniques used in sawdust
firing.The second objective is to investigate the probable
factors determining the body''s surface effects in sawdust
firing when aluminum foil is used as a wrap. Those found-out
factors are tested out by many experiments dimming to creat
various effects on the body''s surface.
The conclusions of this study are as follows:
1.Within limited space and equipment, the use of aluminum
foil as a wrap in sawdust firing is a great convenience.
2.The use ofaluminum foil as a wrap in sawdust firing
provides ceramists more various effects which can be easily
controlled.
3.The temperature of the body in biscuit firing will influence
the effects of blackness.
4.To polish the body''s surface or not will influence it''s
color and luster.
5.To smear the body''s surface with metal dioxide and metal
hyrate will increase the variety in its colors.
