In the plastic molding process, in addition to have a good product design, mold design and material properties, but also have the appropriate process parameters, the conventional process parameters depends on accumulated experience use trial and error method to find a better parameters, but this is often use of more time and money; now you can improve defect through Computer Aided Engineering(CAE) before manufacture of molds, to reducing time and cost by test mode and repair mode to improve products profit . This research investigate the mold flow analysis of car bumper, use mold flow analysis software (Moldex3d) to simulate the actual injection, with Taguchi method and response surface method to identify the best parameters condition of injection molding, are use of melt temperature, packing time, packing pressure, cooling time, injection speed, injection pressure for the control factor, decrease volume shrinkage and warping of products, to improve the quality of car bumper injection molding. Simulation results show that using the Taguchi method with response surface method was obtained as a melt temperature, packing pressure, packing time, injection speed are the important factor, suitable process parameters to reduce warpage amount and volume shrinkage of product.
