With the advancement of technology, more and more functions of electronic and non-electronic products have been replaced by smart phones. The time people use their mobile phones increases. In order to provide a more convenient operation for the user and a comfortable viewing environment. In addition to being large, the screen of a mobile phone cannot be difficult to hold. Some manufacturers have begun to narrow the left and right borders of the mobile phone screen, and even extend the screen as far as possible to the entire front of the phone to achieve a higher Screen-to-Body. The concept of a full screen has also appeared. While the proportion of mobile phone screens increases, it affects the changes of some elements of the mobile phone. Different mobile phone manufacturers have different treatments for these elements. The purpose of this study is to understand the user's perceptions and preferences for these different design elements. Let designers have a basis in designing this type of mobile phone in the future. This study collects mobile phones with Screen-to-Body more than 78% in the market between 2016 and 2017. Organize and classify the six important elements, namely the type of full screen, the corner of the screen, the position of the self-timer lens, whether the volume key and the power button are on the same side, the main lens position, and the fingerprint scanning position. And list eight representative mobile phones. Elemental preference survey using the Likert five-point scale questionnaire. As a result, it was found that the extremely narrow side non-aliased full screen, rounded screen, upper front lens, main lens above the center, and fingerprint scanning under the screen were most favored. Finally, using the results of the elemental preference survey, we designed a version of the high-screen mobile phone and compared it with the best-selling smart phone on the market. Then use the Likert five-point scale questionnaire to ask the subject about the overall preference of the mobile phone. Regarding the overall preference of the mobile phone, verify whether the high-screen design of the newly designed mobile phone is subject to preferences and discussion results.
