臺灣博碩士論文加值系統

本研究旨在探討外籍生來台灣留學因文化差異而導致生活面臨種種衝擊與不便。因文化衝擊的影響，加上外籍生失去原有的支持系統，造成他們在生活上、人際網絡及學習成就方面經歷失落經驗，以致個人在主流環境的適應及學習能力受影響。此外，本研究亦進一步探究，外籍學生在適應主流文化過程中，如何從文化衝擊引發的失落經驗中重建正向意義，增強自己在台灣留學的適應能力並且從這些經驗中獲得成長與收穫。
本研究採現象學研究取向，以立意取樣方式邀請六位來自東南亞國家的外籍生接受半結構式深度訪談，研究結果如下所述：
一、 外籍生在本地所面臨的文化衝擊問題可歸納為語言差異、飲食習慣的不同、氣候差異、教學制度的差異、價值觀的差異及身份的刻板印象。
二、 文化衝擊引發的失落類型可分為人際關係的失落、教育期許的落空、離鄉背井的失落。
三、 外籍生透過所經歷的文化衝擊及失落經驗中，獲得正向的體悟與自我覺察，進而能夠為自我經驗重構正向意義。
依據上述的研究發現，研究者針對外籍學生、學校單位及未來的研究者提出具體建議。

The purpose of this study was to examine the adaptation difficulties confronted by foreign students due to culture shock in Taiwan. Foreign students lost their original support system after they have studied abroad, which they have to face the issues of culture shock alone and caused them experience the loss in various aspects. As a result foreign students found hard to get used to the culture as well as the education system in Taiwan.
A phenomenological approach was adopted in this research. The researcher conducted a semi-structured interview to six participants from Southeast Asia countries. The findings of this study were listed as below:
1. The issues of culture shock confronted by foreign students in Taiwan included differences in language, diet habits, climate, education system, values and stereotype of identity.
2. Foreign students experienced the loss in the aspects of interpersonal relationship, educational expectations as well as homesickness.
3. Foreign students able to reconstruct positive meanings after they gained realization through the experience of culture shock and loss in Taiwan.
