工程師在作建築物的結構設計時，必須依循建築技術規則建築構造編中所列之載重大小與相關的規定，其中活載重部分是依據不同的使用用途，規定不同的最低設計值。這些相關的規定大都參考過去國外規範中的規定，已久未修訂，且欠缺本土化的資訊以驗證其正確性。因此本研究初步調查國內不同使用用途下建築物之活載重現況，並建立活載重分析模式，然後將調查所得的資料以此模式進行分析，初步擬定不同使用用途下之設計活載重與活載重折減公式，並將所獲得之結果，與現行的建築技術規則及國外相關載重規範進行比較。另外，所獲得之持續活載重與50年最大活載重機率模式亦可作為求取載重因子之用，而未來若能有更多之調查資料，再依據本文所建議之方法，則可得到統計上更可靠之結果。

The design of building structures, must conform to the provisions in the loading code. However, the live load requirement in the current Taiwan code are out of date. This research is to investigate the live loads for different building occupancies , and to establish the analysis procedure for probability distributions. The obtained results include the design live load , live load reduction formula, as well as the probability distributions for sustained live load and 50-year maximum live load. The comparison between the results and the current is made. More accurate results will be obtained if additional survey data is available.
