This research analyzes the adjustable phase shift controller and model the component circuits including analog microwave split coupled circuits, resonant filter circuits, The required phase, frequency, and bandwidth are first considered and calculated. Then, the function and specification of circuits are determined. The phase control circuit is used as a tunable phase shifter for RF/microwave signals between 50MHz and 3GHz. Due to the phase difference will vary with frequency; the circuit board is further adjusted and tested according to the desired frequency signals. The final procedure is to test the range of adjustable phase shifts. We first manage the maximum phase shift and amplitude of the adjustable phase shift control by fixed frequency. Next, we test the phase shifts by changing the frequency range. The design of the adjustable phase shift controller and actual measurement by the input and output of the microwave frequency signal has illustrated the design of a reduced size tunable phase shifter is possible using this hybrid design.
