藍乃克(Carl Reinecke, 1824-1910)為德國作曲家、鋼琴家兼指揮家，他是多元創作的作曲家，把豐沛的情感以嚴謹的古典形式呈現，強調曲式與音樂的內涵是並重的。浪漫主義(Romanticism)產生於十九世紀德國的狂飆運動（the Sturm und Drang movement, 1760~1785），故此時期音樂重要的特色之ㄧ，即文學與音樂之密切結合，許多大文學家提供生動的戲劇性故事與抒情的感人作品，給予作曲家們重要的創作來源。這首水妖奏鳴曲，即是藍乃克受當時文學作品水妖(Undine)小說故事的影響下所得靈感之創作，結合了淒美感人的愛情故事內容與藍乃克細膩的音樂素材。

此論文除了分析曲子本身結構及運用素材外，亦結合小說故事的內容，探討在十九世紀浪漫主義思潮之下，音樂與文學之間的結合、故事與作曲手法以及音樂情境之間的關係，希望透過深入研究後，對此曲演奏詮釋上能有更多想像的音樂情境，而充分表達音樂的情感。

Carl Reinecke is a German composer, pianist, as well as conductor. He is a diverse composer who expresses rich emotions in a strict classic form, emphasizing both form and the spirit of the music. Romanticism arises from German Sturm and Drang movement in the 19th century, thus the important distinction of music during this period is the close integration of literature and music. Many literary giant provide vivid drama and lyric works which turn out to be important inspiration for composers. This Undine Sonata is the creation inspired by the literature piece “Undine” at that time, combining the content of a touching love story and delicate trait of Reinecke’s music.
This thesis not only analyzes the structure and components used in this work, but integrates the content of the story to discuss the union of music and literature, and the relationship between the story, composing techniques, and music scenario under Romanticism in the 19th century. Hopefully after thorough study, one can interpret this piece with more imagination on the music background so as to fully express the sentiment of the music.
