The main character of this film, Nan-Hsiang Tai, can be mentioned as a spectacular person during the Taiwan Television History. He developed the original leads-sing which the energetic and vigorous spirits broke down the wall between both cultures and people in previous time. Because of his sophisticated life experiences and broadened knowledge, he was able to connect everything surrounded to his performances. He’s so talented that every important event you can easily find him out on the platform.
I found second to none actor of my film after going through news reports and local authorities. In order to minimize the gap between Mr. Tai and the current audience, I chose to use fast-path MTV clips at the very start. This way, it’ll be easier to remind those original followers who Mr. Tai was and also do a good introduction to the new fans.
This film is actually the reflection of Mr. Tai’s daily life that described the most glory and depressed periods of him. The turning point of this film is brought by Mr. Tai’s most celebrated performance “White sunlight disappears from the hillside, Yellow river flows on into the sea… “This is used to encourage everyone regaining their enthusiasm and hope after rolling down from the peak to the valley.
For a thirty-years serving in front of the screen, Mr. Tai did always treat everything he experienced with optimism, motivation, and sincere. He was so encouraging that the film is suitable enough to tell everyone how life should be lived.
By using the collections from Mr. Tai and video clip records from TV shows, this film has finally been finished after one and half year’s intensive working. Since some of the collections and VCR were too old for us to obtain high definition video, this film is more valuable and exciting to every one of us. Life as a greatest video film, that’s how Mr. Tai presented in this unique one
