《最佳禮物》是一部劇情短片，講述9歲的庭萱，在生日前夕與已離婚的父、母在同一天晚上，分別吃了兩頓生日飯，父母都分別送上生日禮物，而對她來說，最好的生日禮物，卻是祖母在危急關頭的打救，或許「成長」才是現實給她最大的禮物。
本片改編自真實生活，講述現今社會離婚家庭的普遍現象，所有角色都是參考真實的原型人物。本片將以小孩的視角和感受，以第一身角度看待父母離婚對小孩的影響。
本論文共分六章：
第一章緒論，說明創作背景、源起及目的。
第二章文獻探討，針對創作本片所參考的相關研究資料。
第三章創作說明，針對劇本創作過程，片名設計、人物設定及本片的表現方式說明。
第四章籌備與拍攝過程，說明資金籌措，前製階段及拍攝期的工作內容。
第五章後製過程，說明剪接、特效設計、配樂和混音的工作內容。
第六章放映與結論，公開放映情況與節錄觀眾回饋及提問，總結於本片在創作過程中的省思與總結。
最後，附上完整劇本、與演員排練之側戲劇本，影片實際支出表、宣傳海報、演職人員與感謝名單。

The Best Gift Ever is a short drama film that tells the story of 9-year-old Teng Hun who, on the eve of her birthday, has two birthday dinners with her divorced parents on the same night. Her parents both give her birthday gifts, but the best gift for her is her grandmother's rescue during a critical moment or the "growth" that comes with reality.
The film is adapted from real life and depicts the common phenomenon of divorced families in modern society. All the characters are based on real-life prototypes. The film takes a child's perspective and feelings and looks at the impact of divorce on children from a first-person point of view.
This thesis is divided into six chapters:
Chapter 1 is an introduction, explaining the background, origin, and purpose of the creation.
Chapter 2 is a literature review that focuses on relevant research materials used in the creation of this film.
Chapter 3 is an explanation of the creative process, including the screenplay creation process, the title design, character settings, and the film's performance style.
Chapter 4 covers the pre-production and shooting process, including fundraising, pre-production work, and the shooting period.
Chapter 5 discusses the post-production process, including editing, special effects design, music, and sound mixing.
Chapter 6 covers the screening and conclusion, including public screening information, excerpts from audience feedback and questions, and reflections and conclusions on the creative process.
Finally, the complete script, rehearsal script, actual film expenditure table, promotional posters, cast and crew list, and thank-you list are attached.
