本研究旨在探討服務學習方案在大學服務性社團中實施及其學習成效，研究問題包括：一、探討服務學習方案實施中，受服務機構的觀點、受服務者的觀點、學生的觀點、方案遭遇的困難與問題、學生遭遇的困難與問題、及方案的助力與阻力；二、研究學生的學習成效，包括服務價值觀、批判思考能力、自我了解、利他的社會行為、及道德取向；三、提出社團指導老師角色定位和有效大學服務性社團服務學習方案具體建議。
本研究採質性研究，以參與中國文化大學華岡同濟社華興中學55期和56期課業輔導方案者為研究對象，包括華興中學2位主任及4位老師、4位國中生及華岡同濟社華興課輔隊17位學生與1位社團指導老師，於92年9月至93年5月進行研究，透過半結構訪談、焦點團體、服務日誌、觀察日誌、綜合反思，自我評量報告以及回饋量表等方法，進行資料的蒐集與分析。
本研究的結果與發現如下：一、服務學習方案方面：首先，服務應重視事前與機構的充分溝通，以避免雙方產生刻板印象，讓服務無法達到多元、互惠和協同合作關係；其次，服務工作應有良好的服務工作品質與以及學生事前的訓練和定向指導；再者，服務需重視學生反思的進行，包括書寫、討論，且配合吞世代學生特質，設置服務網站、或以E-Mail或 MSN討論專區進行服務反思的書寫與討論。且為使反思討論進行順利，社團指導老師應與學生建立親密且良好互動的關係。二、學生的學習成效方面：研究發現服務價值觀改變，經過服務學習經驗後，學生瞭解服務需符合他人的需要、服務是雙方彼此互惠；批判思考能力經過服務學習經驗後，更清楚自己的能力與限制、增進自我反省能力，並能修正自己的態度、以同理心站在他人的角度看事情、增強臨場反應力；自我了解能力經過服務學習經驗後，更清楚自己的缺點和需要改進的地方、相信只要實際和肯做就作得到、更負責和主動；利他社會行為也有改變，更有同理心、瞭解包容與尊重的重要、瞭解說話要有技巧與懂得尊重他人、變得會主動溝通與自我反省；但研究發現道德取向並無顯著的轉變。三、社團指導老師角色定位方面：社團指導老師的角色是活動的參與觀察者；與學生的關係亦師亦友；專業指導者；學習成果分享者；活動紀錄者；給予關懷者；給予支持者；能夠陪伴服務者走完服務學習過程者。根據研究結果，本研究提出，有效的大學服務性社團服務學習方案建構必須依據理論要素去設計，是一個「真實、挑戰、持久、追求社會正義的服務學習方案。」。學生社團與受服務機構之間的合作模式，是一個「協同合作關係」的模式。
最後，本研究並針對教育主管機關與大學校園推動服務學習方案的應用上及進一步研究上提出具體建議。

Abstract
The purpose of the study was to explore the implementation of the service-learning program in College Student Community Service Club, and study the learning effects of students. The research questions included: 1.Explore the difficulties and problems of program implementation from the perspectives of the community, the service receivers, and the students. 2. Study the students’ learning effects in service value, critical thinking, self-understanding, altruistic behavior, and the change of moral orientation. 3. Provide recommendations to the role of the student club’s adviser, and the effective model of service- learning program for college student’s community service club.
The study was a qualitative research. The participations included four students and six teachers of the Wha-Shin Middle School, and the 17 student members and the adviser of the Hwa-Kwang Ton-Chi Club in Chinese Culture University. The research conducted from September 2003 to May 2004. Data collected from the semi-structured interviews with service receivers and their teachers, focus group with the service- provider students, feedback survey from service receivers, reflection journals from providers and the researcher, and the observation journals of the researcher.
The findings of the study are:
1. For service-learning program: need to have a good communication before the service in order to develop a mutual, reciprocal, collaborative relationship with the community; based on the community needs to provide the orientation and the pre-service training to service students; need to conduct the reflection of service to service students before, during and after the service by writing, discussions, e-mail, or web sites (MSN, for instance), etc.
2. For students’ learning effects: the results indicate a) For service value, students become to understand that the service is reciprocal and the service provider need to understand the receivers’ needs; B) For critical thinking, students understand more about their capabilities and limits. Their self-reflection has been improved. They develop the empathy to service receivers. C) For self-understanding, they understand more about their strengthengs and weaknesses. They become more responsible and active; D) For altruistic behavior, they understand that they need to be responsible to provide service to receivers, and they develop more tolerance and respect to service receivers; E) The orientation of moral is the same.
3. For the role of the club adviser: the research suggests that the adviser needs to be a participating observer, teacher and friend, professional adviser, outcome evaluator, record keeper, supporter, and the companion person through the service. The design of effective service-learning program needs to follow the principles of the good practice of service-learning program and should to be responsible, challenging, sustained, and looking forward common good. The relationship between the student club and the service site is the collaborative model.
Based on the findings, the recommendations for practice on the college student community service club’s service-learning program, and the further research are presented.
