隨著全球上網率的普及,許多人經由網路獲取所需的資訊,然而使用者卻必須面臨搜尋引擎找出太多資訊的困擾,若能直接提供使用者解答,更能滿足使用者需求。本論文提出一套FAQ查詢系統,運用強化的排名技術與知識本體的支援,來提升FAQ的查詢與回覆能力。首先,本系統透過包裝器及知識本體的支援,對分散式環境下的異質性FAQ資訊進行清理、擷取與轉換,並儲存在一個依知識本體結構建構的整合式資料庫。在查詢FAQ時,本系統則透過知識本體的支援,刪除不必要的查詢關鍵詞,能更精確的抓住使用者的意圖;利用全部關鍵詞包含式或部分關鍵詞包含式的方式,本系統能自整合式資料庫中取出更多可供回覆的FAQ;在正式回覆給使用者前,本系統並透過知識本體的支援,檢測後刪除與查詢問題衝突的FAQ,以求呈現最正確解答;最後,我們引入豐富的排名指標技術來強化查詢結果的排名次序,以提供使用者更佳的呈現結果。本系統並可依使用者回饋資訊,將系統內部的FAQ做適當的老化與反老化,以反應目前查詢環境的狀況。經實驗顯示,經由知識本體支援及強化排名技術的引入,的確能提升查詢解答的精確值,並呈現較佳的排名效果。
With increasing popularity of the Internet, many people get information they want by surfing the net. However, people have no choice but to face a problem: the search engine retrieves too much information. If a search engine can offer exactly what the users want, it surely better meets their needs. This thesis proposes an FAQ system which employs the ontology technique as well as an enhanced ranking technique to improve the capabilities of FAQ retrieval and reply. First, the system bases on the wrapper technique, supported by ontology, to help clean, retrieve, and transform FAQ information from the heterogeneous environment into an ontological database. When it comes to retrieval of FAQ, the system is able to trim subsumed keywords, also supported by ontology, and better captures the user intention. With the help of a full keyword containment match and a partial keyword match method, the system is also able to retrieve more usable FAQs from the ontological database. Moreover, the returned FAQs are more accurate since the system uses the ontology to detect and then remove those FAQs that are in conflict with the user query. Finally, to provide a more effective result presentation for the user, the system employs an enhanced ranking technique which includes more interesting indices to rank the FAQs. The system is also equipped with an aging and anti-aging mechanism based on the user feedback to effectively reflect the FAQ status. Our experiments show that this ontology-supported and ranking technique-enhanced FAQ system can truly improve the precision rate of the retrieved FAQs along with an effective ranking presentation.
