本研究以亨德密特《烤天鵝的男人》為主軸，第一章為研究的緒論，第二章介紹亨德密特生平及作曲風格，第三章作樂曲分析，第四章探討演奏技巧，第五章為結論。
亨德密特是一位擁有多重身分的音樂家，因為豐富的經歷，使他成為二十世紀音樂家代表之一。《烤天鵝的男人》更為中提琴曲目的經典之作，樂曲中有許多艱澀的技巧，以及特殊的和聲，希望藉由此研究，可以讓讀者對此曲有進一步的了解。

The topic of this research paper is a study of Paul Hindemith’s <Der Schwanendreher for Viola and Small Orchestra>. Chapter one states the goal and the method of this research. The following chapter introduces the life and composition of Hindemith. The third chapter focuses on the analysis of this concerto, followed by the discussion of the performance techniques in the next chapter. The final chapter is the conclusion.
Paul Hindemith is an all- around musician. He was among the mostrepresentative composers in the 20th Century.<Der Schwanendreher>has already become one of the classics in the viola repertoire of all time. Hopefully the wonders of this masterpiece are revealed in some way through this research.
