數位資訊時代為人類思想與藝術型式帶來全面性的革命。壓縮、複製、再現與堆疊，將傳統的閱讀經驗延伸至全新的向度，於是人類對時、空的滯留更加短暫，達到一種失控、甚至超越現實的真實狀態。本創作論述⎡空場下的迴道⎦在數位與科技的基礎中，將時間、空間與意識，透過高速、沒有終始、反覆的堆疊，延展、建構成一種巨大的感官經驗。

作品〈Ordinary Instruments〉以馬達裝置反覆摩擦木紋，討論自然時間下物件透過物理耗損所轉換成龐大的聽覺、視覺與觸覺經驗；作品〈空屋系列〉以動力機械對應拍攝裝置，在高速移動的路徑中，將原先的空間轉向一種感官上的變異，其可測量性變得矛盾，成為不受意識控制的狀態。

在這樣數位技術創造的巨量閱讀中，將生活中習以為常的微觀或是片刻予以淡化，轉而是巨大、深刻、難以描繪的感官經驗。

Digital and technical generation explodes human’s thought and behaviors. People develop the evolutional skills and techniques to express the arts. The artists performance the time and space with compressing, reproducing, reconstructing, and waving. With the revolution, the scene leads the audiences a huge impact of understanding and acquaintance. The unusual space-time experience breaks the normal concept, even exceeds the reality. This thesis “Loops in the Vacancy” is going to bring you to experience firsthand.

Giving the audiences a new combination of watching and listening. The work “Ordinary Instruments” is applied for the technical motor device to play mystical and various sounds due to rubbing objects. On the other hand, showing the audiences the impact of feeling and understanding. The works “Vacant Room Series” is made use of the motive machinery camera to catch the scenes in a high speed motion.

By comprehending the infinite loops of digital technology , every little thing or moment could transform into some strong abstraction.
