德國羅斯托克（Rostock）大學圖書館中，收藏一份標題為「為中音木笛與持續低音所作之三首木笛奏鳴曲」（Three Sonatas for Alto Recorder And Basso Continuo）的樂譜親筆手稿，在1992年比利時音樂家維姆‧布拉朋斯（Wim Brabants,1955-） 及尼德蘭音樂學家艾伯特‧當寧（Albert Dunning）考證後，證實這三首木笛奏鳴曲來自於18世紀木笛作曲家尤尼科威廉‧凡瑟納（Unico Wilhelm van Wassenaer,1692-1766）的創作，當時要獻曲給他的友人菲德烈希‧路德威公爵（Duke Friedrich Ludwig,1698-1731） 。
凡瑟納是一位外交官、音樂演奏家以及作曲家。他出生於尼德蘭地區 上艾瑟爾省（Overijssel）。
本研究作品《為中音木笛與持續低音所作之G小調奏鳴曲》主要分為五個章節，第一章包括研究動機、研究目的、與研究方法三部分；第二章探討尼德蘭音樂發展與風格、凡瑟納的音樂作品、及本文研究之作品。第三章依調性、樂曲曲式、及數字低音加以分析；第四章則依據前面章節論述做為基礎來詮釋樂曲；第五章為總結研究心得與感想。

A piece of music manuscript titled “Three Sonatas for Alto Recorder and Basso Continuo” is archived in the library of the University of Rostock, Germany. After research conducted by Belgian musician Wim Brabants (1955-) and Netherlands musicologist Alber Dunning, in 1992, they verified that those sonatas were written by Unico Wilhelm Van Wassenaer (1692-1766) in the 18th century, and they were dedicated to his friend Duke Friedrich Ludwig (1698-1731) .
Wassenaer was a diplomat, music performer, and composer. He was born in Overijssel Province, Netherlands region .
This research, “Sonatas for Alto Recorder and Basso Continuo in G minor” is composed of 5 chapters. Chapter 1 consists of 3 sections: research motive, research purpose, and research method. Chapter 2 explores the musical development and styles in the Netherlands, Wassenaer’s compositions, and the origins of the musical works studied in this research. Chapter 3 focuses on the analyses of tonality, music forms, and basso continuo. Based on analyses in the previous chapters, Chapter 4 provides interpretation and discussions on the musical works. Chapter 5 summarizes the research conclusions and findings.
