　　亨德密特(Paul Hindemith, 1895-1963)為二十世紀德國最具代表性的作曲家之一，他亦是一位傑出的演奏家、音樂教育家。他的創作初期承襲後浪漫派主義風格，在1920年代初期顯露表現主義風格。在創作中期他融合巴洛克時期複音音樂等創作技法，進入了新客觀主義風格。後期為鞏固他個人的風格，著書《作曲技法》(Unterweisung im Tonsatz)，而他為業餘愛樂者及學生譜寫的樂曲，被稱為「實用音樂」(Gebrauchsmusik)。
　　本論文以亨德密特於1938年創作的《雙簧管奏鳴曲》為題，文中描述他的生平及研究創作風格之轉變，並分析樂曲結構及調性，以期詮釋更為貼近作曲家的意念。本篇論文共分為五章，第一章為緒論，說明研究動機、方法與目的。第二章探究亨德密特的生平，以及了解其創作風格，並做創作時期之劃分。第三章為樂曲分析。第四章作樂曲詮釋之探討。第五章為結論。

Paul Hindemith was a representative German composer in the twentieth century, and an outstanding music performer and educator of the time. His composition mixed by Baroque characteristics and his unique techniques which reveals New Objectivity style. Besides he used his theories which Unterweisung im Tonsatz ( The Craft of Musical Composition) mentioned of, “Oboe Sonata” is a piece combines these ideas.
For players who perform “Oboe Sonata” could correspond the conception of composer, this dissertation has five chapters include an overview of composer’s life and composition techniques. The first chapter are motive, purpose and method of research. The second chapter describes the biography of Paul Hindemith and his composition’s style. The third chapter analyzes the skills and structure which use in “Oboe Sonata”. The forth chapter gives an interpretation. The fifth chapter is a conclusion summarizes previous discussions.
