本文以巴爾托克之中提琴協奏曲為對象，探討曲中屬七和絃於八音音階內之轉化運用。全文分為三部份，分別為背景、分析以及詮釋。第一部份，主要介紹此曲的創作情境，藉由背景的概述，了解此曲之創作動機、重要性與版本問題。第二部份，以分析第一樂章之第一主題，介紹八音音階、屬七和絃如何於此作品中，利用半音，進行轉換，也同時介紹巴爾托克如何運用屬七和絃作為中心音響；接續，則藉由織度、速度與音域上的使用，分析巴爾托克切割素材的手法。第三部份，以詮釋為依歸，綜合各層面的觀察，提出張力起落之來源。
