隨著科技技術的演進,電腦計算的能力變得更加強大與普遍化,身為一位化工工程師,更要學會利用如此便利的工具來解決化工問題,使製程生產達到事半功倍的效果。而解決問題的方式即是藉由電腦使用化工模擬軟體,利用電腦計算實現化工製程的「再現性」,運用數學方法還原化工製程。進而藉助電腦補助計算,進行化工廠的物質平衡、熱量平衡、設備尺寸估算、水力計算、質能分析以及經濟價值評估……等作用。
本論文即是利用化工模擬軟體—Aspen Plus,對化工廠中設備改善案例進行靜態製程模擬,利用設備汰舊換新的機會,針對系統重新執行製程熱整合之設計與操作評估,並運用Aspen Plus套件進行公用物流及設備價值之經濟評估。
設計結果顯示,利用Aspen Plus模擬出之系統操作參數及設備尺寸大小,能有效地降低公用物料之使用,並對設備造價進行估算,以計算成本回收年限之經濟效益評估。

Along with the evolution of science and technology, the ability of computer computing has become more powerful and popular. As a chemical engineer, it is more important to learn to use such a convenient tool to solve chemical problems and make the process production more effective with less effort. The way to solve the problem is to use computer software to realize the “reproducibility” of the chemical process by computer computing and to restore the chemical process by mathematical method. Then, by means of computer aided calculation, the material balance, heat balance, equipment size estimation, hydraulic calculation, mass and energy analysis, economic value evaluation, and so on, are carried out in the chemical plant.
In this thesis, the chemical simulation software, Aspen Plus, is used to simulate the static chemical process of the equipment revamping cases. Using the opportunity to replace the new equipment, the thermal integration and operation evaluation of the revamping process are redesigned. Also, the Aspen Plus suite is carried out for the economic evaluation of the utility usage and equipment value.
The design results show that the use of the system operation parameters and equipment size simulated by Aspen Plus can effectively reduce the use of utility materials. Also, it is able to estimate the cost of the equipment and calculate the economic benefit of the cost recovery period.
