中國有句俗諺「男大當婚，女大當嫁」，顯示了我們對於婚姻的重視，對女性來說「婚姻」更是人生過程裡角色轉換的重要歷程，女性心理必須承受著離開原生家庭的分離焦慮，進入另一個新的家庭，從女兒轉變為妻子與母親兩種角色，外顯身分的更動，伴隨著心理層面的轉變，使其生命故事有所起伏轉折，而帶動心理學、社會學等學術領域之研究主題。
本創作亦著眼於待嫁女性之情感轉折，透過聚焦女主角與小時候想像自己的樣子相互映照與轉變，引導觀者了解女主角心理的矛盾，同時勾起觀者的生活經驗，藉以建立觀者與角色之共鳴。同時透過象徵女主角矛盾情緒的化身與母親的互動，帶起整齣影片之情感高潮，期待藉此影片探索親情間的心理變化及依附關係。

A Chinese saying "A man should get married on coming of age, and should a girl." It shows how important marriage is for us. As far as women are concerned, marriage is a big moment to change their roles of their lives. Women have to leave their original families, become a new member of a new family. They play different roles between wife and mother. These new roles affect women's spiritual development and make their lives more astonishing. Because of its complexity, marriage also becomes a research topic in psychology and sociology.
The animation project describes emotional transitions of brides. The story focus on a huge role gap between a girl and a wife. Hope that it'll find an echo with audiences.
