十九世紀浪漫樂派作曲家李斯特(Franz Liszt, 1811-1886)一生創作了大量的鋼琴作品，種類豐富、數量龐大、風格多變，其著名樂曲也多被學者與演奏家探討和演出。1860年前後，他寫作與改編了許多反映自己精神信仰與心靈層次的作品，《傳奇曲》(Légendes)、《聖母頌》(Ave Maria d’Arcadelt)、《巴赫主題幻想曲與賦格》(Fantasia and Fugue on the Theme B-A-C-H)等。
李斯特於1862年完成的《在西斯汀禮拜堂》(À la Chapelle Sixtine)，節選阿雷格里《求主垂憐》與莫札特《聖體頌》的主題旋律，將充滿歷史意義與背景故事的兩作品結合在一起，重新編寫成為一首嶄新的曲目。
在本詮釋報告中，將自李斯特創作此曲當時的生命階段及心理背景，到阿雷格里與莫札特原作的意義，與樂曲本身的結構探討及其與原作之間的關聯性，至最終的精神境界的昇華，做完整的介紹與討論。以期演奏者在演奏此曲時，能更全面地理解李斯特寫作此曲的心境，與他藉由作品傳達的理念與使命。

In the 19th century, the romantic composer Franz Liszt (1811-1886) created a large number of piano works in his life. He has a rich variety, a large number, and a variety of styles. His famous music is also discussed and performed by most scholars and performers. After 1860, he wrote and transcribed a number of compsitions that reflected his religious beliefs and spiritual levels, such like "Légendes", "Ave Maria d’Arcadelt ", " Fantasia and Fugue on the Theme B-A-C-H " etc.
Liszt completed "À la Chapelle Sixtine" in 1862, excerpted from the theme melody of Allegri's "Miserere" and Mozart's "Ave verum corpus", full of historical significance and background. The two works of the story are combined and re-written into a whole-new masterpiece.
This interpretation report is focused on the meaning of the life stage and the mood of Liszt when he composed "À la Chapelle Sixtine", the original meaning of "Miserere" and "Ave verum corpus", the structure of the music itself, its relevance to the original compositions, and the ultimate spiritual sublimation, done a complete introduction and discussion. In order to perform this work well, the performer can understand Liszt’s mood when he composed, and communicate his idea and mission through this article.
