李斯特(Franz Liszt, 1811-1886)為浪漫時期的代表作曲家之一，最為人稱道的是其華麗且炫技的鋼琴曲，不只在當時享譽樂壇，更是影響許多現代音樂家。除此，李斯特也創立了交響詩(Sinfonische Dichtung)此音樂形式，強化了音樂的內涵，使音樂與文學有了融合的契機。
李斯特所創作的聲樂曲常因其在鋼琴上的造詣而被忽視，而其畢生創作為數不多的聲樂聯篇歌曲(song cycle)，以佩脫拉克(Francesco Petrarca, 1304-1374)創作之十四行詩作為歌詞進行譜曲，可以從當中看到音樂如何與文學做出完美的結合。結合李斯特的愛情生活與佩脫拉克的思想，兩人跨越數百年的交合，誕生了流傳至今、旋律優美且深刻的《三首佩脫拉克十四行詩》。
本論文以《三首佩脫拉克十四行詩》為基底，從佩脫拉克以及李斯特的生平著手，由人文主義(Humanism)的角度切入看待作品中的音樂與文學。第一章介紹筆者的研究目的、動機、範圍以及方法；第二章探討了李斯特的生平背景、作曲風格以及對後世的影響；第三章梳理了音樂與文學的產物-藝術歌曲的演變與發展；第四章探討了佩脫拉克的生平背景、人文主義以及對後世的影響；第五章從詩詞、格律、曲式等部分分析了《三首佩脫拉克十四行詩》的三首作品；第六章為總結。

Franz Liszt(1811-1886) is one of the representative composers of the Romantic period. He is praised for his gorgeous and dazzling piano playing, not only at this time but also influencing many modern musicians. Liszt also created the musical form of symphonic poems(Sinfonische Dichtung), which strengthened the connotation of music and provided an opportunity to integrate music and literature.
The vocal music composed by Liszt is often ignored because of his piano accomplishments, and he has composed one of the few vocal song cycles in his life, composed of sonnets by Petrarch as the lyrics. From these songs, we can see how music and literature make a perfect combination.
Combining Liszt's life of love and Petrarch's thoughts, these two men have crossed hundreds of years of association, giving birth to the beautiful and profound "Tre Sonetti di Petrarca" that has been handed down to these days.
This thesis is based on "Tre Sonetti di Petrarca," from the life of Petrarch and Liszt, also from the perspective of humanism to cut in the music and literature in the works. The first chapter contains the purpose, motive, scope, and methods of the research; the second chapter integrates the development of the lieder; the third chapter discusses Liszt's life background, composition style, and influence on later generations; the fourth chapter discusses Petrarca's life background, humanism and influence on later generations; the fifth chapter analyzes the three works of "Tre Sonetti di Petrarca" from the poetry, metric, and musical styles; the sixth chapter is the summary.
