多明尼克．阿爾堅多（Dominick Argento, 1927-2019）為二十世紀美國當代藝術歌曲的著名人物之一。聯篇歌曲《春之歌》（Songs about Spring）的詩詞是來自於詩人康明思（Edward Estlin Cummings, 1894-1962）的詩詞，於1950至1955年間譜寫，初版作品僅有三首歌曲，後期才完成為眾人所熟悉的五首歌曲。
本論文以阿爾堅多《春之歌》為主題，共分為五部分。第一部分為前言，包含研究動機與目的、研究範圍與方法；第二部分簡述作曲家阿爾堅多之作曲風格和藝術歌曲特色；第三部分簡述詩人康明思寫作風格與手法；第四部份為《春之歌》之作品分析，其中包含詩文之翻譯、結構、韻腳、詩詞內容詮釋和音樂分析；第五部分則為結論，綜合以上章節之研究。
