本論文研究主題為蕭邦的F小調第四號敘事曲。本論文一共有五個章節，第一章將說明本論文的研究動機及研究範圍與方法。第二章將探討蕭邦的音樂風格及音樂理念。第三章將針對蕭邦第四號敘事曲的創作手法進行分析與研究。第四章將深入研究第四號敘事曲的樂曲結構、調性、和聲、旋律、速度及踏板。最後，於第五章結論作簡潔的歸納與統整。

This thesis focuses on Chopin's Ballade No. 4 in F minor. I divide my research into 5 chapters. Chapter 1 deals with the motivation and scope of my research, and the method I use in analyzing this work. Chapter 2 talks about Chopin's music style and his music idea toward his composition.
Chapter 3 focuses on the analysis of his composing style in Ballade No. 4. Chapter 4 seeks to understand deep through the music structure, modulations, harmonies, melodies, tempo and the use of pedal. Finally, I will make a conclusion by summarizing my research findings in chapter 5.
