　　夢與現實，之間，內與外，之間，進與退，之間，看與被看，之間，主客，之間…自我與他者的分別形塑了一切的二元對立，所謂的他者皆是自我所創造出來的顯影，我們把自身佔據在客體的位置上，確保這條分界線永遠不會消失，這使得「之間」形成了一種不可能的狀態，人類的慾望被滿足於「隱喻」般的幻覺之中，我們都慣於以一種後遺的方式往回看，對於那個歷經了時間差、形成他者的「我」的幻象緊抓不放。

　　透過生活中的各種空間現象，探討主客體來回交織的關係，從身體空間至心理空間，試探討如何將自我從他者的位置上退讓出些許留白的空間，讓所有的客體都能成為主體自身，使得溫柔且平等的互相對待成為可能。嘗試將隱藏於諸多表象下的自我顯像出來，從身體的實驗、與他人的交叉討論、影像與文字、空間符號、現場的呈現方式乃至讀者的參與及評論的整個過程皆成為此題旨辯證過程的一部分。

In-between, dream and reality. In-between, inside and outside. In-between, advancing and retreating. In-between, seeing and being seen. In-between, the subject and the object… The difference between the ego and the Other makes all binary oppositions. The Other is manifested by the ego. By occupying the position of the object, we ensure that the line of segregation will never disappear. This makes the "in-between" an impossible state of existence. Human desires are satisfied by the illusion of "metaphor". We are used to being obsessed the illusion of the ego that becomes the Other in a meta-way after time lapse.

Through various spatial aspects of life, we focus on the intertwined relationship between the subject and the object. From our body to the psychological space, we try to retreat the self from the position of the Other to make an in-between space and erase the dividing line between the subject and the object so that the object become the subject by itself, thus making possible the gentle and equal treatment of each other. We try to visualize the ego hidden under life events through physical experiences, discussions with others, image and text, space signifier, presentation, and the reader's participant and commentary. The whole process has become a part of the dialectical process of this topic.
