本紀錄片的被攝主角余秀芷，在23歲那年，突然背部一陣陣的劇痛，連帶的雙腳也失去力氣，在經過一連串的檢查後，醫生只做了一個「不明原因導致的脊髓神經損傷」的結論，從此，在青春年華，她坐上了輪椅。

把自己封閉了一年半後，她決定自殺結束生命，卻在撰寫遺書的過程，回憶起家人照顧她的點滴，一個轉念，決定活下去試試看。

一開始，她把心情寫在部落格，只是為了抒發情緒，沒想到意外的獲得了許多的迴響，之後出了書、開始演講、當上主持人、成為專欄作家、生命故事入選進社會課本….,
成了許多人眼中的某種「成功人士」，但是私底下，她每天面對著各種的挑戰，身體的威脅、環境的不友善…，每個小事，都足以再度擊潰不好容易建立起的信心，這些都是外人不所為知的。

本紀錄片《逆風也要飛翔 Rotating of Life》是由台灣藝術大學應用媒體研究所研究生黄綉惠在2018年所完成的畢業作品。紀錄著身障者余秀芷的生活，透過與她的貼身紀錄，紀錄下身障者生活的各種困境，也紀錄了余秀芷與一群身障朋友，爭取無障礙環境的奮鬥歷程。

本片全長72分鐘，由各種規格的數位攝影機拍攝而成，全片從田野調查、拍攝、後製歷時11年的時間，希望透過這部影片及本論文，讓更多人看見身障者的生活、引發更多的同理心，也提供其他的紀錄片創作者一些建議。

The character ,Yu Xiuzen,Sleeve in this documentary, she felt a strong pain gradually from her back with no strength of her legs when she was twenty-three. The doctor only gave her a conclusion which is “Spinal cord injury” for uncertainty after a series of body check. Since then ,she has been sitting on the wheels chair in her youth .

Having self isolating for one and half years, she decided to commit suicide to end up her terrible life. However ,when she was writing her suicide note, she recalled all of memories of her lovely families who took care of her carefully and with love. At the turning point. She told herself to keep on living and gave a try for her life.

At first, She began to keep the diary on her blog to express how she feels the disable feeling in daily. Surprisingly and accidently , she got a lot of warm feedback and encouragements. She not only started to deliver the speech but also be an host of TV program , and be columnist. Her story was collected in the social study of school book after she polished her autobiography. She became a very successful lady as well.

But no one knows, how hard that she has to suffer from pain and face all kind of challenges, barriers, such as the threatening of her body painfully and unfriendly environment. Every little things is able to attack her confident which was built uneasily.

This document “Life flying against the wind” is recorded and made by the author Vita Huang , a graduate of Applicated media Arts of National Taiwan University of Art in 2018. The author recorded Yu Xiuzen,Sleeve, the disabled life and tracked down all kinds of difficulties that she met, and also kept notes the paths of fighting Disabled Access.

This 72 minute documentary was made by various specifications of digital camera. The entire part of document from field research, filming and post production had lasted for 11 years. Hope more and more people know and realize that the disable life and have more sympathy . This work provides more suggestions ,point of views and inspirations through this documentary..
